Just swap that silly gas cap for a Shelby one and scrape off that windshield lettering, and that is how you do a handsome custom this-is-my-Mustang-there-are-many-like-it-but-this-one-is-mine car. Wheels are always swappable, but these newer style ones aren’t the worst and were probably pretty affordable.

I’d say get rid of the fake Shelby side stripes, fake Shelby emblem, and fake Shelby (Cobra style) wheels, and I agree that the windshield lettering has to go. I’d keep the hood stripes, scoop and the engine dress up stuff.

Okay. But it’s kind of hard to drive an engine on blocks. :)

I’m okay with the coupe GT350 tributes. And I thought the wheels were ‘05-’09 V6 wheels for a second, but I suppose they’re different aftermarket ones. The later Cobra emblem is not very period correct, but I think it’s tasteful in this case if that gas cap stays. Maybe I’d delete it if the gas cap swap happened.

The windshield lettering and gas cap are the only things that I really hate. The other stuff is what I would change to suit my taste. There is something about GT350 side stripes on a coupe that just doesn’t look right to me, but at the same time I think original Shelby Mustang style wheels would look good.
